Start with a budget, meeting notes or project tracker

A blank page is useful when you know where to begin. For everything else, Lattice now has three free starter templates you can download and try: a monthly budget, meeting notes and a project tracker.

Browse the templates. Downloads are available without signing up.

Plan a monthly budget

The monthly budget template puts planned and actual income, spending and savings side by side. Totals and differences calculate as you edit, so you can see what remains after your allocations.

The workbook includes fictional example amounts in USD. Replace those amounts with your own figures and use the notes column for context.

Leave a meeting with clear next steps

The meeting notes template gives your discussion a simple structure: purpose, agenda, notes, decisions and actions. Each action has a place for an owner and due date, with a checkbox for tracking completion.

Download the Markdown file and import it into a new, empty Lattice Docs document. Import replaces the document's contents, so keep existing notes in their own document.

Keep a project moving

The project tracker template keeps tasks, owners, due dates, status, priority and next steps together. A summary counts named tasks, completed tasks and work still open.

Start with the example tasks, replace them with your own and keep status labels consistent so the counts stay useful.

Try them in Lattice

Download a workbook, open a blank Lattice Sheets spreadsheet and choose File → Import CSV or XLSX…. The import adds a worksheet; select Monthly budget or Project tracker to start editing. The template pages include the full instructions.

Create a free Personal account if you are new to Lattice, or choose a template and bring it into your existing workspace.

These starters are deliberately small. Make them your own by changing the examples, adding rows or adjusting the notes for the way you work.
