Keep your files with the things you make

Lattice Files is where your documents, spreadsheets and slides live, along with anything else you want to keep. Open it in a current web browser. There is nothing to install, and it is the same account and the same sign-in as the editors.

Upload files with a button or by dragging them onto the page, keep them in folders, and download them again whenever you like. A document, spreadsheet or presentation opens in its editor, and downloads as a Markdown, XLSX or HTML file that other programs can read.

How much you get

The free plan includes 15 GB of storage for your documents, spreadsheets, slides and files. A paid plan includes 200 GB. Your mailbox is separate, 5 GB on the free plan and 50 GB on Lattice Personal, so mail does not use up your file storage. Keep your files and the documents you make here.

Your files are not our product

• No ads. We make money from people who choose to pay for more storage, not from attention.
• Nothing used to train AI. We do not use your files to train anything.
• Take it with you. You can export what you have, and close your account whenever you like. When it is closed, it is erased.

Where Files is today

Lattice is new. Files is not a backup service, and it is not end-to-end encrypted: your files are encrypted on their way to us and while stored, but we hold the keys. Keep your own copies of anything important.

Files belong to your account alone: there is no sharing at the moment. You cannot yet rename, move or delete a stored file. Each time you save a document, spreadsheet or presentation, earlier versions are kept for a time, but Lattice does not yet have a screen for going back to an older one.

If you want more room, a paid plan includes 200 GB and costs $2.99 a month, or $29.99 for the year during our introductory offer (through January 20, 2027), plus any tax. Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. A free account has no card on file and no time limit. Paid plans are optional.

Who can sign up?

Lattice Personal is open to people 18 and over in most countries. The Terms of Service list the few places we cannot serve.

Can I get my files back out?

Yes. You can export what you have at any time, with or without closing your account.

What happens to my files if I close my account?

They are removed from our live systems within 30 days, and can stay in our backups for a short time after that. The Privacy Notice has the exact periods.
