Lattice Suite

The office suite for an organization, from one provider.

Mail, documents, spreadsheets, slides, chat, meetings and file storage, hosted by us and built as one system rather than assembled from acquisitions. People, groups and licences live in one directory, and one sign-in opens all of it.

What you get

Your mail, our servers

Mail is hosted on mail servers we run, not forwarded to another provider. Each person has a mailbox that opens in the Lattice web app and works over IMAP and SMTP. Outgoing mail is signed with DKIM, and the domain publishes SPF, DMARC and TLS reporting records. For now this is Lattice’s own domain: an organization cannot yet bring its own mail domain.

Documents that collaborate

Documents, spreadsheets and slides can be edited by several people at once, and their changes merge without conflicts. A document shows each person’s cursor and a spreadsheet shows each person’s selected cell; in slides you see who else is in the deck, but not where they are on the slide. Documents do not yet have comments or tables.

Files, shared like documents

Files are stored by their content, with up to 60 versions of each file kept and a recycle bin for deleted ones. Share a file or folder with a colleague as a viewer or an editor, or make a link that opens a file without an account and expires. Documents, spreadsheets and slides are files in the same storage, so they are shared the same way.

One directory

People, groups, roles and licences are kept in one place. Administrators can read an audit log of changes to accounts, roles, licences, mailboxes and files; the administration screen cannot edit it, and the database refuses to change or delete its rows. Sign-in is Lattice’s own: single sign-on from your identity provider (Entra, Google or SAML) is not available yet.

What it looks like

Every screen here belongs to a made-up company, Northwind Trading Co.

The Lattice Mail inbox for an organisation, listing messages from colleagues and suppliers, with the first message open beside the list and its PDF attachment shown above the text, in the dark theme.
Mail.
A Lattice document titled Q4 operating plan, with headings, a bulleted list and a numbered list, open with two colleagues whose names appear beside their cursors in the text, in the dark theme.
Docs.
A Lattice spreadsheet named Q4 department budget with columns for department, owner, Q3 actual, Q4 budget, Q4 actual, variance and percentage of budget, a total row, and two colleagues' selected cells marked with their names, in the dark theme.
Sheets.
The Lattice Files page for an organisation, listing four folders, two documents and three uploaded files, each with buttons to rename, share or recycle (and, for files and documents, to view versions), and a share panel open to give a colleague edit access, in the dark theme.
Files.
The Lattice administration page with tabs for users, groups, licences and audit, listing twelve people in an organisation with their addresses, status and the licence each holds, in the dark theme.
Administration.
Lattice Chat showing a group conversation titled Q4 budget review between four colleagues, with the list of conversations on the left and a Meet button, in the dark theme.

Why this exists

One system, not five

People, groups and licences come from one directory, and files, documents, spreadsheets and slides are shared the same way. Mail is each person’s own mailbox: there are no shared mailboxes yet.

Your data is not the product

We host it, and that is all we do with it: no advertising, and no content used to train anything. The audit log records who created, shared, renamed, deleted or restored a file; it does not record each edit made inside a document.

Licensing you can read

A licence is a product with seats assigned to named people. What it grants is checked when a person signs in and each time their sign-in is renewed, about every fifteen minutes, so removing a licence takes effect there rather than in a table somewhere.

Where it is today

Lattice Business is early. It runs in production for our own use and in private trials: mail, the editors, chat and meetings, file storage, sign-in and administration. It is not open for sign-up, and it cannot yet host another organization’s own mail domain. Meetings take up to four people. Single sign-on, shared mailboxes, and comments and tables in documents are not built. If you would like to be considered for a trial, we should talk.
