What free means here
A free account has no card on file and no time limit. We show no ads, and we do not use what you write to train AI. We make money from people who choose to pay for more storage and higher mail limits, not from attention. What we do with your data, in plain words says what we keep and for how long, including that it is not end-to-end encrypted.
What this suite is not
Lattice is new and small. It has fewer features than the suites that have been around for decades, and it does not try to match them. It has no add-on marketplace. If your work depends on advanced layout, macros or a particular file format, check that Lattice does what you need before you move anything important.
If you are choosing between suites, we wrote down the differences as fairly as we can: Lattice and Google Docs and Lattice and Microsoft 365.
Free, and what paying adds
The free plan includes 15 GB of storage for your documents, spreadsheets, slides and files. If you want more room, a paid plan includes 200 GB and costs $2.99 a month, or $29.99 for the year during our introductory offer (through January 20, 2027), plus any tax. Payments go through Stripe, who acts as the seller. You can cancel online, and the free account stays. See full pricing and the refund policy.
Questions
Is there really a free online office suite with no ads?
This is one. A free Lattice account has Docs, Sheets, Slides, Files and Mail, no ads, and no card to enter.
Who can sign up?
Lattice Personal is open to people 18 and over in most countries. The Terms of Service list the few places we cannot serve.
Can I take my documents with me?
Yes. You can export what you have and close your account whenever you like. When it is closed, it is erased.
Is it for a business?
Not on a personal account. A business offering is separate and not open for sign-up yet.
