The short version
Google Docs, Sheets and Slides are free with a Google account, and they are far more capable than Lattice today. Choose Lattice if what you want is a smaller, calmer place for everyday documents, files and email, with no ads and a plain account of what happens to your data. Stay with Google if you rely on its depth.

Who should stay with Google, and who might try Lattice
Stay if you share documents or edit them with other people, lean on add-ons or advanced formulas, work with a team that already uses Google, or have years of documents you do not want to move.
Try Lattice if you want one simple account for documents, files and a mailbox, without ads, and you are happy with a smaller tool while it grows. You can keep your Google account at the same time. Nothing stops you running both.
Free, and what paying adds
The free plan includes 15 GB of storage for your documents, spreadsheets, slides and files. If you want more room, a paid plan includes 200 GB and costs $2.99 a month, or $29.99 for the year during our introductory offer (through January 20, 2027), plus any tax. Payments go through Stripe, who acts as the seller. You can cancel online, and the free account stays. See full pricing and the refund policy.
Questions
Is Lattice a Google Docs alternative with no ads?
It is a smaller alternative for everyday writing, with no ads. It is not a full replacement for everything Google offers.
Can I move my Google documents?
Not automatically today. Lattice keeps documents in its own format, so moving is mostly a matter of copying the content over. Sheets can import XLSX and CSV files, and Docs can import Markdown and text files. Try it with one document first.
