Add teammates to a Lattice Business workspace

Start after your organization and first administrator have been arranged. Administration requires the appropriate administrator role and licence. If Admin says you do not have access, contact your organization administrator or the Lattice team.

1. Add a person

Open Admin → Users. Enter the new person’s agreed business address and full name, then choose Add person. Use the address and domain approved for the trial; your organization’s own mail domain is not supported yet.

Adding a user and granting application access are separate steps. A newly listed person may still need a licence seat, a password setup link, or a mailbox.

2. Assign the agreed licence seat

Open Admin → Licences and find the active licence arranged for the trial. Assign an available seat to the person. Check the seat list and the person’s entry in Users afterward.

Do not choose Buy as part of routine trial setup. If a required licence or seat is missing, ask your administrator or the Lattice team to confirm what was agreed before purchasing anything.

3. Share a password setup link

In Users, choose Send password link for the person. The resulting link is shown once. Copy it and deliver it privately to that person using an agreed channel. Despite the button’s name, you still need to share the displayed link.

The link is single-use and has an expiry time. If it is lost or expires, generate a new one. Never post it in a public conversation or include it in feedback.

4. Give mailbox access when needed

If Mail is part of the trial, an administrator with mailbox permission can use Give mailbox for an active user. Confirm that provisioning completes before testing Mail. A licence seat alone is not proof that a mailbox is ready.

5. Verify as the teammate

Ask the teammate to set their password, sign in, and open the application they are meant to use. Test access with a sample file. Do not grant an administrator role just to make an access error disappear. Licence changes may require sign-in renewal before their effects appear.
